Marble
When you think of marbles you think of the famous marbles from Europe when in fact there are many marbles here in the United States that rival those from Europe and are more readily available. Marble is primarily quarried in Vermont, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama. All 50 states have a prominent building where marble was used for the exterior.
