Otta Phyllite
This material is quarried in Norway in the town of Otta. The base color runs from black silver to silver black and gold. When honed is has a holographic or 3D appearance due to the mineral content in the stone. It is undoubtedly the most beautiful as well as unique stone in the world.
Finishes are natural cleft, honed and brushed. The stone will maintain its dark color when used indoors although it is a semi-weathering stone and will take on various shades of tans, rust, oranges, etc. when used in an exterior application.

Alta Quartzite
Quarried in the Arctic Circle commercially, this quartzite can be used for any architectural purpose whether interior or exterior. There are numerous quarries in the region but the quality stone is extracted from the primary quarry. The color is gray green with the tighter grained material closer to the gray side of the range to the more opened grain material which tends towards the green side.
Finishes available are natural cleft and honed.
Highly resistant to staining and acids make it an excellent product both for interior or exterior use.

Oppdal Quartzite
This quartzite is quarried in the center of Norway in a town by the same name. The base color is silver to grey but it can vary within that color range.
Finishes available are Natural cleft, Honed and Brushed.
It is primarily used for exterior applications except when the honed finish is specified then it is typically used as an interior application.
Unlike any other quartzite this one can have a snapped edge which gives a natural but consistent look. Snapped edges can even be produced for radial type products.

Offerdal Quartzite
This material is similar to the Alta Quartzite although it comes from Sweden. It has almost the exact same color and is difficult to tell apart even to the trained eye.
